Brynjarr Þór Mendoza

Brynjarr Þór Mendoza, otherwise known as Perry/ Per or Julian Mendoza, is a doctoral researcher in comparative literature at the University of Turku. His dissertation investigates the aesthetics of absence in 21st century literature and his other research interests include affect theory, cultural theory, (post)modernism, and depictions of glaciers in Icelandic literature. He is also working on a monograph on the works of Gyrðir Elíasson.
